All participants are requested to wear their name badge at all times in the conference venue.

The welcome reception will be held at the Kyoto International Conference Center (the Conference venue). The reception is open to registered participants and accompanying persons. Lunch boxes for the three days 23rd, 24th and 26th are included in the registration fee. Conference participants can receive lunch boxes in exchange for tickets at the entrances to the Banquet Hall Sakura and Banquet Hall Swan. Both halls will be available as locations for enjoying your lunch box. Vegetarian lunch boxes will be distributed only at the entrance to the Banquet Hall Sakura and provided only for participants who have previously requested them in the Online Registration.

Drink Service
During the conference, coffee and other drinks are offered in the Annex Hall in the break time, except on 25th and morning of 23rd. In addition, drinks are offered during the Poster Session near Room C1 (the room for the poster session). Drinking water is available at all times. Three water severs, one in the Annex Hall (23rd-26th), another between Room B1 and B2 (23rd-26th, except 25th) and the other near Room C1 (23rd-27th, except 25th) are provided. Please check the floor plans.

Wi-Fi / Internet
A Wi-Fi service is available free of charge in public spaces and some rooms in the conference center.

How to use the ICCK Public WiFi

  • Select the network : ICCK_Public_WiFi *No password
  • Registration is not necessary. There are no time restrictions or security settings.
  • Network speed may fall due to congestion or network environment.

Business Center
A PC corner, printers, copiers, and more will be available on a self-service basis at the Business Center (fees charged). Cable internet access to your own PC will be available free of charge.

Cloak Room
The cloak room (cloak B) next to the 1st floor central elevator is operated by ICC Kyoto. The cloak service is available during the following opening hours. Valuables, non-folding umbrellas, or conference bags cannot be accepted.

All indoor areas are non-smoking. Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor smoking areas (2 locations).

Food & Drinks
Eating and drinking are prohibited in the presentation rooms at the venue. Only water is allowed. Eating and drinking is permitted in the lounge, main lounge and garden terrace. Attention: Kites (a kind of large bird) may try to snatch your food when you are in the outside garden.

If you bring an umbrella into the building, please place it in a plastic bag. The bags will be available at the entrance when it is raining outside.

If you or any other delegate is unwell, or if an accident or any other emergency occurs while at the conference, please contact the registration desk or any staff member.
When an Earthquake Strikes
Take action to protect yourself and wait until the shaking stops.
Keep low, cover your head and body, and stay put until the tremors stop.
Then follow the staff’s instructions.
